The accommodation is in a modern farmhouse, offering one single and one double bedroom with an adjacent shared bathroom, situated on a 4 acre smallholding. We are unable to accept dogs since we have our own cat which has a low fear threshold! Under construction is a new conservatory which catches the afternoon and evening sun and in warmer weather can be used for breakfast as an alternative to the indoor dining room. Sue is a keen gardener and is gradually taming the areas near the house, whilst wildlife enjoy the rest! We are also situated alongside the Grand Union Canal (via a gate) which offers scenic walks, bird watching and coarse fishing (providing you have a licence). There are several restaurants/takeaways in Long Buckby, 1 mile away. There is easy access to M1, M6, A5, A14 and we are centrally located for touring the ‘Heart of England’. Our full English breakfast includes eggs from our free-range hens, locally made sausages and home cured bacon (home grown tomatoes when in season). We always have a selection of cereals, orange/tomato juice and toast. Vegetarians and those requiring a continental breakfast or who have a food allergy, should make their requirements known at least 24hrs in advance of their stay. 2012 prices: £35.00 per person or £65.00 for two in the double room for Bed & Breakfast. Payment can be in cash, debit/credit card (£1 extra for credit) or cheque payable to ‘Sunny Meadow Farm’. A £10 deposit is required to secure a booking.
